After 77 years of marriage, they held their wedding: the home’s staff organized the elderly couple’s dream wedding

Royce and Frankie King, both 98, held their dream wedding recently.
The couple first tied the knot on September 16, 1944, in a casual wedding whereby Royce donned his military uniform while his wife wore an ordinary white dress and not a gown. The two hurriedly exchanged vows before Royce left to fight in the war.

The couple met in school when they were just 14 and started dating when they turned 17 years old.
Their daughter Sue Bilodeau, 68, witnessed her parents’ dream wedding and she said: “It was the most magical moment. They are just in love as the day they met.Dad was very proud to put on his uniform for mom, and mom loved being pampered. They were just beaming at each other the whole time.”

She added: ‘They are very devoted and committed to each other and they delight in making other people happy. It’s wonderful for them to finally have wedding photos.”
Alphanso Reynolds, 84, married his 93-year-old soulmate, Mary at their home in Jamaica. The two met many moons at a construction site ago and sharing their love journey, Alphanso said he fell in love with her when he first saw her.

The elderly man said he admired Mary’s character and pursued her though she turned his offer down. But the determined man he was, he never gave up. On August 17, 2021, the elderly couple tied the knot. The only people present as they officiated their union were their church pastor and their son.
