Plot:
Up 2 picks up several years after the first film. Carl Fredricksen (Ed Asner), now in his late 80s, has found peace and joy in his relationship with Russell (Jordan Fisher), the young scout who once helped him achieve his lifelong dream of visiting Paradise Falls. Together, they have maintained their bond, but a new challenge arises when Carl receives a mysterious letter from an old friend he thought was lost to time.

The letter leads Carl and Russell on a journey to a hidden, forgotten world—a vast floating archipelago in the sky, where Carl once visited as a young man. However, this magical place is not without its secrets. They encounter an ancient adversary, a new villain (voiced by Danai Gurira), who threatens to turn the floating islands into a desolate wasteland. Along the way, Carl and Russell must face their fears, confront the ghosts of Carl’s past, and rekindle the spirit of adventure that once made him a young explorer.
